Pastor Anthony began preaching on Sunday, November 13th, 1994 as an Associate Minister at Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church where Rev. Marvin A. Jennings, Sr. is the Senior Pastor.

After attending three years at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA, he completed one-half of the requirements for the Master of Divinity degree (concentrations: Homiletics and Theology).

Anthony earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan – Flint, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (major: Accounting, minor: Business) and Master of Arts in English Language and Literature (concentrations: Creative Writing and Multicultural Literature), respectively.

From 2010 through 2014, Anthony was hired as the Associate Pastor of Faith Tabernacle in Burton, MI and served with Senior Pastor Bruce Garner and an eight-member pastoral team (including Pastor Emeritus Berniece Matejcek).

He was baptized at Foss Avenue Baptist Church and later raised at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, which were founded by Drs. Avery and Mildred Aldridge and the latter by Mother Delilah Duell.

Anthony and Davida were married on December 19th, 1992 and joined Grace Emmanuel led by Rev. Marvin A. Jennings, Sr. They later matriculated to several churches in Georgia and Michigan before settling at Faith Tabernacle in Burton, MI.

These two have ministered side-by-side for nearly 23 years as husband and wife. They were married by the late-Dr. Avery Aldridge (and the late-Bishop and Dr. Alfred M. Smith).

Together, we have two adult sons, Blake and Isaiah. Blake earned his Associates degree and was an honor student at Mott Community College (MCC). Isaiah currently attends MCC and is doing great his sophomore year. We thank God for our marriage, children, and family members, as well as our church family!
